Antonia Lofaso

Antonia's food provides a way to explore her life. She began to be interested in food when she moved from suburbs of Long Island to the diverse cultures that is Los Angeles. Cavatelli and Carnitas have the ability to coexist in harmony in the menus, a belief which has evolved through many years. But what remains is her distinctive idea of the future and longingly recalling the previous. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso, who is inspired by her Italian American tradition. The restaurant received an enthusiastic reception. Lofaso's interpretation of classic Italian has been acclaimed for being among the top places to enjoy Italian food located in Los Angeles. The customers have described Scopa as a vital neighbourhood staple, where Lofaso always provides food that is delicious and unquestionably satisfying. Lofaso studied from chefs with sophisticated cooking techniques. However, she was not afraid to take huge risks in order to respect her own instincts. She quickly climbed the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago and then went on to revamp several high-profile kitchens in Los Angeles while working closely with numerous celebrities. In 2011, Lofaso worked along with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to launch Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. With Black Market and the business partnerships she formed Lofaso found her new home. Lofaso could find the space to be creative that she wanted through the collaboration. Black Market has no one idea in its head and it is that way. It would start with dill-flavored potato chips, Shishito peppers, and finish with Korean wings. Antonia is the linchpin of this dizzying array. Lofaso evaluates her achievements throughout her career by her natural ability to know her audience and remain true to her personality. In the course of her career, both Top Chef Chicago episode and Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her capacity to be her personality outside of the kitchen. In the years since she's maintained her work in front of cameras as a CNN's Restaurant Startup Judge as well as regular appearances on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso published The Busy Mom's Cookbook: 100 Quick and Delicious recipes in 2012, with Penguin. The book also tells the story of how she faced challenges while she studied at the French Culinary Institute. She also raised her daughter Xea and her son Xea. Lofaso claims that the motivation behind all of her success is derived from her kitchen. This is the way she stays on top on the current happenings. Through the Chefletics brand, she is revolutionizing the aesthetics of her industry by re-designing chefwear for both style and functionality. Lofaso is a firm believer that adhering to the vision you have set is essential. To achieve this goal, she created Antonia Lofaso Catering. It allows customers to enjoy a truly personal service.
